2024 CHNC Annual Symposium Workshops

Call for Symposium Workshop and Educational Breakout proposals closed on February 11.  

Our team is currently evaluating proposals and will be communicating with all submitters via email mid-March.

Workshops & Educational Breakouts at the Symposium
Attendees can participate in a variety of interactive, hands-on workshops and educational breakout sessions targeted to the multidisciplined CHNC Symposium audience. Session topics include quality improvement, communication, procedural skills, program development, and leadership proficiency. The goal of these multicenter collaborative sessions is to share knowledge and provide clinicians with implementable practice changes.

Workshops
Dynamic, interactive sessions that begin with explanatory or introductory information followed by audience participation and interactive activity, examples include:

• Demonstrations
• Hands-on activity
• Role play
• Improving/acquiring skills or procedures
• Problem-solving discussions

Educational Breakouts
Small group discussions that may be less interactive than workshops. Breakouts may feature a presentation of a group project or a topic with coordinated discussion, examples include:

• Moderated panel discussion
• Q+A Session
• Debate-style presentation‍
