Endocrinology

The Endocrinology focus group seeks to understand the impact of variations in practices on issues pertaining to endocrine aspects of an infant’s care in the NICU.

Introduction

The Endocrinology focus group was started in 2021 and comprises of neonatologists and pediatric endocrinologists with the goal of understanding how variations in practice impact clinical outcomes in neonates with various endocrine diagnoses, with the goal to achieve the delivery of consistent, high-quality optimal care for neonates with neonatal complex endocrine disorders across the CHNC and beyond.

Mission

Our mission is to improve the care and outcomes for infants with complex endocrine disorders through sharing of data and benchmarking, research, and development of safety and quality improvement initiatives.
